This is the one symptom that has yet to go away for me (10.5 weeks)... It was the first sign of why I test before AF and has lasted pretty much the last 1.5 months.
Does fatigue go away in the second trimester?
I'm used to doing a million things and while I'm still working, I hate the fact that the house is a mess and I'm behind on all my usual chores and errands. But, I'm also glad to be able to rest my body.
When did your exhaustion go away?

aww hang in there! For most it goes away by the second trimester and does come back in the third. For me exhaustion in the third was no where near as bad as first.
I hear ya on getting stuff done though. 
My husband has picked up all my slack, hope yours has too!

It went away when my nausea did - around 10 weeks. It came back last week at 32 weeks....

Mine is still pretty bad…I can't really stay up through a movie anymore and I am OUT before 10 every night, which didn't use to be normal for me. I'm 15w1d and it hasn't gotten better yet!

I started feeling less tired around 12 weeks, but never got back to my pre-pregnancy energy (38 weeks now). The second trimester was definitely less exhausting, but I still slept a lot and got tired easily.

It goes away in the second trimester and when it does, boy, do you ever feel like a new person! I was a ball of energy! I practically pranced and skipped through the entire second trimester! But then, the third trimester shows up and it was back to track pants, and 8pm bedtimes.

You should feel better by the second trimester. If not, have them double check that you're not anemic. That second trimester was such a beautiful trimester! Unfortunately, the third trimester starts getting a little tiring again.

It went away for me in second trimester (still had bouts of being tired but didn't have that general hungover feeling). Came back around 30 weeks or so - but more in the sense that I felt I needed more sleep at night.

Out of curiosity (I'm still TTC), when does the fatigue usually start? Do you experience it during the TWW or later?

I had SERIOUS fatigue during first tri, kicked in right about 5 weeks maybe? I can't really remember, it honestly all blurred together. I had to set my alarm an hour early to give myself time to wake up..rushing out of bed made me sick. win-win!
i'm still tired in the 2nd tri, but not as bad. I can stay up later (til 10, lol) and get up normal time when alarm goes off if I have to.

My second trimester so far (18 weeks) isn't as bad as the first, but I still get tired. Some days are worse than others, especially if I had a hard time sleeping the night before.
@Adira: I don't remember exactly when my fatigue started, but I think it was around 5 weeks.

My exhaustion went away about one week into my second trimester. In my second trimester, I had TONS of energy! in fact, I am 37 weeks + 3 and I STILL have tons of energy! It will get better... promise!

I'm still getting tired in the second trimester, but I wonder if part of it is that I'm not in great shape, especially from being so lazy in the first trimester because I felt sick. But I am able to get a lot of things done. I get bursts of energy and I get things done, and then I sit down for a little while, and then repeat!

I didn't feel tired in the first trimester, just queasy. Now I'm 20 weeks and have taken a 1.5 hour nap everyday for the last week because I'm just. so. tired. I hope this is just baby having a growth spurt and it ends soon.

@Adira: For me it started at 7DPO, so a week into my TWW. However, I did get a BFP the next day (at 8DPO...really really rare) so our LO implanted really early.
