Woohoo to pregnancy perks!! I loved how everyone was so nice when I was pregnant

I feel like offering one's seat and asking someone their due date (a court officer asked me yesterday) is such a dangerous thing to do unless someone is clearly pregnant...so it's exciting to think that people other than my family and friends notice : )
@chopsuey119: Agree! I could get used to this!

Yay! That is very exciting! I remember how glowy I felt when someone did that to me!
However, when I was 35 weeks pregnant, I was on a crowded subway and NOBODY offered their seat to me...They all avoided eye-contact. Hmph.

Awww...that's awesome! When I used public transportation, I was always amazed at the amount of men that would blatently ignore pregnant women or women with infants who were on the train. I ended up giving them my seat a lot! I'm so glad you found a kind stranger today!!

I used to ride the bus a lot when I was younger and I would always give my seat to any who looked very pregnant or had kids and a stroller. I didnt give up my seat to people who had small bumps like mine though because I really couldnt be sure if they were pregnant or not

That's exciting! I am ready for that moment, too. I'm 23 weeks, but because I'm tall the bump isn't all that noticeable. Plus, with it being winter I'm usually bundled up. Hoping that my growing bump + spring-like weather (it had better be here soon) means that I'll be getting a seat soon.

@meredithNYC: I totally unzipped my coat on the T in the hopes that someone would notice! I was on the verge of asking someone but he beat me to it : )
@Mrsbells: I have definitely wondered at times whether to offer to a woman....but sometimes it is so hard to tell and I don't want to offend!

hehe nice! haven't been in a situation where pregnancy has helped me.... except a small one i guess. went to the post office. sending out my thank you cards. i made my own with pictures so i wasn't sure how much it would cost. turns out, it was just a stamp. oops. she said typically, they make us do it, but since i'm pregnant, she'd do it for me. awww.
