I'm working on getting a maid a time or two to treat myself for the end of this pregnancy. I'm hurting too much and too tired to care to do it myself anymore.
What is something you splurged on for yourself?

It's not a financial splurge, but I'm a lot kinder to myself. Usually if I'm laying in bed at 10 AM on a Saturday morning I'm like get up you bag of bones and stop being lazy - these days I totally excuse it.

I think I will do haircut & mani/pedi before K comes! That way I don't feel like a total nasty mess after labor/birth!
I've been wanting to splurge on a prenatal massage too; but I usually don't really love massages so I'm still on the fence.

Well...I just sent DH a house that came on the market that is perfect for us in the town we want to move too, however this was not in the plan but now we are going to look at it tonight...OH BOY! Lots to do if we start moving forward.

I got a legit prenatal massage and it was magikal with a K.
We are getting a carpet cleaning service to come in to do the rugs before I pop and possibly hire a junk hauler to drag all the crap in our garage out, but I don't know how much of a splurge that is.
I will definitely be getting a gel manicure/pedicure before labor (mostly for our newborn photos) and possibly get a wax if I can handle it.

My splurge has been eating out more!! Nothing fancy, but I generally don't feel like cooking... we used to cook 4 - 5x a week, but now it's down to 2 - 3x a week. Which makes us have to buy lunch more too since we used to always take leftovers to work. So all our money is going to food, haha.
But I did have a wonderful facial last week, I had a gift certificate to the Four Seasons Spa which was sitting in a drawer for 3 years! Luckily it didn't expire...

This time I caved and bought a fancy and amazing pair of maternity jeans. I figure that if I wear them every day for 5 months, the cost per wear makes it worth their weight in gold.

Some good quality maternity clothes, mani pedis, afternoon naps! I was all about pregnancy splurges!

One really nice maternity maxi dress. I had a few showers and weddings to go to so this was my go to dress. I love it.

Eating out more for sure! I was way too lazy and giant to cook anything.

A mani/pedi!
I was going to get a cleaning service but a family member surprised us with one! They're supposed to be setting up the first appointment soon

I'm also having a housekeeper come over, hopefully once a month from now until....whenever I can do it myself again! I emailed my husband and told him that I just can't pick up after my daughter any more and sweep/mop. He gave me the go-ahead Someone's coming over for an estimate tomorrow!
I really need to up the pedicures, too.

So far I've been getting pedi's about once a month. I used to get them like twice a year - so it's been nice!

Love this! What a great idea about house cleaning- and especially the one about the donuts - haha.
I splurged on some post baby body things - like the mama mio skin tight stuff (they have a new version out, so who knows if that one works like the old one) and the belly binder, etc. I got those while pregnant with hopes that those donuts (and french fries, and cheese burgers) would eventually come off - haha - and knew once the baby was here, I wouldn't want to spend money on myself.

@Mrs. Rabbit: Someone comes over in a couple of hours, I'm so excited and hope she works out!

I need a pedi. But I'm so huge carrying twins that I hate leaving the house.
I splurged and bought myself a new lens for my camera... Tho its more like an early push present. Hehe. Other splurges include a house cleaner who comes over every 3 weeks, sleeping/napping as much as I can (I love my sleep!) and eating chocolate/icecream/donuts without feeling guilty.

@msmug: In some areas there are people that will come to your house to do beauty treatments!

So far I've splurged on a Bump Nest pillow. I had a hard time spending $90 on a pillow, but it's been worth it so far.
