Did anyone use these and were they helpful for comfort and support during pregnancy and then after birth? I've seen a few of these for sale on my local used baby items board and I am wondering if I should invest in them for use later (I'm only 16 weeks now).

I used one during pregnancy. It helped so much with the back pain!

I have one that I wear sometimes when I'll be on my feet for awhile. It helped with pelvic pain in the 2nd tri and helps with back pain/posture as well. I got it from Motherhood Maternity, it was like $30 and they'll let you try on/test them out in store--I would wait to see if it's something you actually feel a need for, then check out the different options in store since there are different styles and they might not all work for you.

I ordered a FitSplint: http://www.mombodfitness.com/fitsplint-maternity.html and will probably start using it right after Christmas. I'm getting to the point where I could benefit from the support during work outs or long days where I'm on my feet/cleaning/doing errands all day long. I'm hoping it'll help alleviate some of the back pain I get from being go-go-go all day

I got one at Motherhood Maternity because at the end of a long day of work, it was excruciatingly painful to walk the 8 blocks to the train station. I bought it because I was carrying low and my belly felt VERY heavy. And it kind of helped for that, but then I actually thought it made my back pain worse, possibly because I then had to compensate for my belly being lifted? I'm not sure. Either way, I didn't find it all that comfortable, and hardly use it now at 35+ weeks.
