We lost a car and a roof in our last bad hail storm! The insurance company has been so backed up that we just finally got word officially that the car is totalled and we will need a total roof replacement.
Who else had an expensive spring?

We made out okay, but DH's aunt lost her house to a tornado on Mother's Day. My BFF's in laws last their house as well. An entire town of 300 was hit, over 90% was affected in some sort of way, 100% of businesses -

My son's basketball hoop landed on my brand new car a couple months ago, it isn't totaled though. I'll be getting an estimate tomorrow. At least you have insurance!

So sorry that you are experiencing slow insurance. My grandparents live in Florida and every year have to put in a claim due to hurricane damage. Luckily it has been nothing big so far, but it always takes a long time to get insurance to respond.

I hope insurance is covering it! We had a similar storm a few years back and my ILs lost a lot but thankfully insurance covered it all.
