DH and I are considering starting an account on a video sharing website for our relatives to stay connected. We would put little videos of DD so they can log in and watch. It would be strictly private though. Does anyone else do this? What's a good website for it? YouTube would be the obvious choice but I'm wondering if there is another good one.

I did a shutterfly account for this. You have to pay for unlimited videos though. You can also set it to do a little digest email once a week to show the updates.

@MrsHansen82: we use 23 snaps for photos and videos. People can get a daily or weekly email digest or log in to the site or app. Free. I really like it.

I created a photostream (apple) where people I invite can see photos and videos I put up. Only catch is they need an apple product to see, I think.

Vimeo is excellent for this!

I use Vimeo with student videos at school. You can even add a password so that only those you give it to can view the videos. People can subscribe to your videos so they get an email when you add another video.
