If you had your progesterone monitored in your 1st trimester, do you know what it was towards the end, around 11 weeks? My RE is concerned that my numbers dropped from 106 to 53 when I went from every day to every other day injections but I'm wondering how high is normal at this point and am feeling like I was set up to fail. Why did I have to do injections anyway if my numbers were already in the 50s?

Mine were in the 30s/40s with DD at the end of the first tri and low 50s with DS! The highest my progesterone ever for with him was 64 and with her it never got higher than the mid-40s!

while i am only 6wks mine is in the mid-50s and they said that is a great number. i know my cousin with her ds never had progesterone over 15, and they were monitoring closely, but said that they'd be concerned if it went lower than 5..

@spaniellove: I can't tell you about my numbers at 11w but my number was like a 15-16 at 9w which is when she let me wean off the supplements. I was all weaned off by 13 weeks if I remember correctly.
My number was 14.6 at about 6w, too. My doctor said nothing below 14 is good, around 20 is great. I am SHOCKED to see yours at above 50! -
@spaniellove: They were while I was still supplementing but the night before the bloodtest I wouldn't take any or I'd make sure that it had been like 3 days before my last PIO shot (I did them twice a week) so that the bloodtest was picking up as little of the medicine as possible.

@TurtleDoves: Now I'm wondering why I was ever on injections when I've been between 50 and 60 without them since 4 weeks!

Just wanted to update - my levels this week were exactly the same as last week so there's a chance they'll take me off the injections next week!
