I used to work for loft and by personal experience this is the best sale of the year except for the Black Friday sale (usually 50% off entire store).

@keiki_mama: Read the reviews!! Sometimes I think I love something by the picture, but then 5+ reviews say, "this is cute... BUT it's small.." or something of the like. If only one review says something, you can likely dismiss it - unless you notice the reviewer is similar body type to yours (I love how they display that!). I often leave a lot of reviews for that purpose - they help SO much!
I have had amazing experiences with LOFT clothes and love their stuff. Keep in mind that anything not cotton - like a silk-like/poly material usually runs small. I am a consistent medium there, but any of their blouse-type shirts are restricting.
Also they are great about returns, and you can return things to a store.

I tried it on in the store last week and it is a million times more beautiful and flattering in person than online. It runs a size small, so size up but it is soo pretty and a gorgeous color!

They actually had a flash sale with 50% off the entire store and online except denim a few weeks ago. I totally went and stocked up on work clothes since I was returning to work soon!

Thanks! I always find myself in need of stuff and with no coupon and then spending full price in the store and that irks me since the stuff is not really worth the full price IMO...

@T-Mom: I think they mark up prices so that they can afford to constantly be sending out all their coupons. I never shop without a sale/coupon and never pay full price either.

Thanks!! I shopped a 50% off sale at Loft online just last month, but need to do some more damage since I am going back to work soon. I was just thinking about going to the Loft yesterday, but decided to wait for another sale... Glad I did!

@Mrs. Pen: Hey, since you used to work at LOFT, I was wondering if you knew what would happen in this situation -- I ordered a bunch of maternity clothes in my pre-pregnancy size (L/14). Well, yesterday I went to Target and I need XL/16, if not bigger, even in maternity. (Yes, I am just thrilled to be so huge at 15w!) So its likely I will need to exchange some if not all of the clothes I bought. Will I be able to swap them out for the same item in a larger size without paying the price difference now that the 40% sale is over? It's really going to suck if I basically have to pay full price for everything now since I ordered the wrong sizes.
