Does the amount of time before you do a check mean crying time or fussing/babbling time?

Good question!!!!! I have been wondering this tonight! We put DD down without the swaddle and she woke up 2 hours early for her feed - but she just chatted to herself. Agh! What does that mean?!!

Crying. And you are supposed to restart timing if they stop crying and then start again.
