It recently passed through our house. Thankfully it wasn't as bad as some people had it but we all passed around a pretty yucky bout of the big D.

My husband and I had it last week, but Liam somehow avoided it. I have no idea how because he was cuddling and kissing me while I was sick.

Ugh yes, around February. It hit me first, then dh, then every single member of my family (mom, dad and sisters). Somehow dd avoided it!!

This is coming from someone who never had it before.
Surprisingly enough, DD only had it once and DH always avoided it.

I've had a stomach bug / flu THREE separate times this winter. Plus a few colds thrown in for good measure. I've never been sick so often in my life!

Yep, I had it right before Christmas and DH has had it twice. GROSS.

I got it in January right before my miscarriage. Then I asked for permission to just start this year over.
Somehow DH avoided it (maybe because I quarantined myself in the guest room? It's closer to the toilet)

LO, our nanny and I had it 2 weeks ago, but DH was spared. it is really making the rounds, i know tons of people that have it or had it recently.

DH had it a month ago and ended up in the ER. Luckily LO and I were spared.

@ShootingStar: I can sympathize! I had it last May and spent 1 night in the ER and another night in the hospital getting fluids. Not how I pictured my first couple nights away from my baby to go . I have absolutely no clue how DH and DS were spared.

thankfully no. I just had laryngitis/congestion/sinus crap 3x instead.

Anna had it two weeks ago, DH had it so bad he was in the ER last week and I got it yesterday afternoon.

DH and I both had it twice this year. Misery. I haven't had it before that since 2005!!

DH had it once, which is crazy because in the 7 years we have been together I have never known him to get it/ throw up, he said he can not remember ever having that. Thankfully lo and I did not get it, and I'm praying we don't get it!

Oh how I did! It really wasn't too bad. But I hate the part where you feel nauseous for 12 hours then throw up and pee your pants at the same time and then feel just gross for a whole week after.

Yep. It put me in the emergency room TWICE in one week. I was so dehydrated I couldn't walk.

Twice. Ugh. Is every year like this with a LO in daycare or is this year particularly bad!? I don't remember ever getting a bug like that since...2006 probably.

@anonysquire: ha!! Oh yes...the throwing up and peeing part was my favorite. It makes me mad that DH doesn't have to experience that lovely part of the sickness
And yup. We thought somehow we escaped it, but no -- we all came down with it this week!

I had it twice, DH had it twice and L had it 3 times, including one epic 6 day stretch where he was fine during the day but would barf or have diarrhea in the evening. hooray.

Yup. Somehow my H avoided it.

Yep, about 6 weeks ago. A was so bad she had to go to the ER, she thew up 14 times in four-and-a-half hours

Yep. Luckily I was the only one to get it. It sucked but at least the baby and husband were spared.

We've had it run through our house twice!! My almost 10 month old LO only goes to day care once per week. Every week this winter, two days after his daycare visit, he comes down with a new cold or GI bug. It sucks!! But I guess his immune system will be awesome.
