Did anybody have a sore butt during pregnancy? I'm not talking hemorrhoids, but the actual buttocks themselves. I have been so sore the past few days! I'm 20 weeks. I haven't done anything like walking up and down a bunch of stairs, or anything out of the ordinary. Is it just the growing weight hurting me as I sit down all day?

I am 19 weeks and experiencing the exact. same. thing! It's so weird, isn't it? I told DH about it, but he thinks I'm just looking for a rub down, lol.

could be sciatica... I had horrible sciatic nerve pain with both pregnancies! starts right in the middle of the butt cheek and radiates down each leg.

It definitely could be sciatica. Is id dull pain like you worked out too hard or sharp pain?

I totally have this! I'll be 17 weeks tomorrow. I have been getting up at work a ton because my buns are sore from being sat on!

My tailbone has been extremely sore. Is that what it is for you? I read that it's due to the difference in hip rotation.

@Mrs Green Grass: My tailbone does hurt also, but this is my actual butt, down lower and on both sides!
My upper back has also started hurting something awful when I'm doing something prolonged standing up, like folding laundry. I wanted to cry the other day, I had to lay down mid-folding!

YES! I have two pillows on my chair at work and they help ever so slightly, but my butt still gets really sore. And my back hurts. And my neck hurts. It's never-ending lol

YES!!! I have experienced this on/off through my whole pregnancy. It's like I was doing crazy stair climbs or something, but I haven't done any workouts or anything to make them sore! So strange!

Omg, I had horrible right butt pain with my second pregnancy. It wasn't sciatica as it didn't shoot down my leg. It hurt the worst when I sat back. I put a heating pad on it or more like leaned back on the heating pad for about 15 minutes or so until the pian went away. My OB said it was safe as its not near the baby. Sometimes I couldn't even lie down as the pain would get worse. Probably the worst kind of pain next to crotch pain I had with that pregnancy. It was just the way the baby was in my belly. Probably putting a lot of pressure on my spine and I only gained 20 lbs (7 lb 13 oz baby). Both pains went away shortly after I gave birth.
