@MrsKoala: you know those extreme sour warheads? I cannot get enough of those!!
@MrsCB: oh my gosh, I can't deal with bananas or eggs, two of my favorite foods normally.

the heartburn... the whistling whenever I breathe through my nose... the breathlessness (ALL the time)... and pretty much everything else mentioned in this thread!

@LovelyPlum: I've heard sour cravings means boy. Turned out true for me!

@ladybee: hmmmm...I didn't know that! I usually love sour, but not like this. We are Team Green, so I guess we will see in April!

@LovelyPlum: Yeah, I have no idea how everyone left that part out post partum. I thought something was seriously wrong with me when I was losing so much hair.
I didn't realize how pregnant you feel first trimester even though you don't look so much pregnant. Or that your boobs can start growing so quickly after becoming pregnant.

I didn't know how insanely thirsty I would get, especially the closer to the end of the pregnancy I got. I swear, I must have drank gallons a day!

@sunshineandsushi - Yes - I am thirsty all the time and it results in not going more than 2 hours of sleep before I have to get up to go pee.
Also - congestion! I thought it was allergies, but it never goes away.

-That I would be miserable. I know that sounds dramatic, but I have had hypremesis both times, and am very sick for at least half my pregnancy (at 15.5 weeks with #2, hoping that's the duration this time).
-That my rib cage and hips permanently expanded
-All the constant pressure and aches and pains in my pelvis
-That my boobs would grow so much and so quickly
-That my hair would fall out all around my face at 4 months PP
-That I'd have such crazy dreams
-That by the time labor drew near, I wasn't afraid in the least, because I just wanted to get my baby OUT!

I'm only 19 weeks, so I have a lot to learn still (so not looking forward to lightening crotch!) but I didn't know how much my sleep would be affected!
I figured once I got really big I would have trouble from just being uncomfortable, but didn't think it would happen this early. Sometimes I toss and turn for no good reason, and wake up and can't fall back to sleep in the middle of the night! Ugh. Guess I'm just getting prepared for the eventual sleep deprivation!

That I'd HATE water in first trimester, and then would crave/need it the rest of the pregnancy. I remember having to just bring a gallon with me when I'd visit my sister cause I'd drink all their water.
The ankle and foot swelling during the final weeks! Had to get bigger shoes for work!

sciatica pain, pee in my pants while sneezing (late pregnancy). The later I kinda knew but didn't actually think that would happen. LOL
And I didn't know morning sickness could be so bad, it was practically the worst I've felt in my existence.
