So let's pretend it's the weekend, you need to meet someone and they ask you what time of day is best for you. What do you say?
I don't have kids but I think meeting between noon and 2pm is a good time.

Between 10-12. After breakfast and before lo's nap!

I voted 10-12 too. Gives me plenty of time to slowly get going in the morning, but I've still got it done before the day gets away from me.

As a person with no kids - I voted for between noon and 2 PM. It gives me a chance to wake up, get ready, and relax.

I guess it depends what the reason is for needing to meet with someone, but I think generally later morning works well. You can grab a coffee/pastry, and be done early enough that there is still plenty of time to get other things done.

The problem with 12-2 for us is naptime falls right in that time range. Doesn't mean we can't go out, he just may not sleep as long once we get out of the car.
We are naturally ready for action around 10 am, any earlier and we are rushing around.

If it's the weekend, I can leave LO with DH. I chose 8-10. I'll already be awake by then because of LO, and that leaves the rest of the day open.

Between 10AM - Noon, or around 1PM. Usually these times work the best with L's naps. We can't do anything after 5PM since she goes to bed so early.

@lemondrop: Yup, noon to 2 is pretty much the universal naptime!

Early afternoon is good for me. That way I can sleep in and have plenty of time to get ready.

10-12 is right between my little guy's nap times, so it's the perfect time!

My 14 month old is still on 2 naps, ugh. So we need to go out in the early afternoon, and she just catnaps in the car on the way home.

Late afternoon. Naptime usually falls in the 11-2 range. Skipping it is not an option.

@Sweet T: I'd far rather she take one good midday nap. The second one is always in the car, unless I want to stay home all day, which I do not. So I end up reading in the car, a lot. I have no idea how I'd cope if I had an older child to wrangle.

My LO is a big night owl/late sleeper, so 1-3 pm is usually the sweet spot for us, we get up at 9, nap is from 11-12:30 usually, so meeting at 1 works well, I can change his diaper, nurse him and be where we need to be by 1 usually (I live in a small city though, so everything is <15 minutes from my house).
