Let's share, shall we? Why is your kid crying?
Yesterday I would not let L sit and play with his cars.... inside the fridge.

Because I wouldn't give him five spoons to eat his yogurt with... yes he uses all of them... in rotation...

DH shared this one with me from this morning after I left...she wanted parmesan cheese sprinkled on her cheerios and wanted to wear pjs to daycare.

@mrsjyw: haha that totally made me lol! In rotation, no less!
@mediagirl: how could you!!!!!
@tinyperson: I think you have a tiny food critic or maybe fashionista on your hands! Let her express herself!!!!

I went to pick her up from the crib this morning, despite her standing there waiting for us.

Last night, the tub faucet ran out of hot water, so I turned it off.
pomegranate / 3858 posts
@.twist.: That's what I told him - I said if she wants to eat parmesan cheese, let her, and I don't care if she wears jammies to daycare! I would totally wear jammies to work if I could!

I took the away the nasty nylabone after he smacked himself in the head with it, but luckily before he put it in his mouth. (Note: crying was definitely from the removal of the nylabone not the head smacking)

There was much sadness in the car yesterday to discover that when you smoosh stickers together hard they STICK to each other cannot be undone. (and probably tears that yet again, *mama was right* and warned LO of this!)
pineapple / 12802 posts
@Smurfette: She was stretching her legs, duh!!!
@blackbird: Shame on you! The hot water should never end.
@tinyperson: I'd be a much happier worker if I were allowed to wear my jammies. lol!
@BadgerMom: haha yummy!
hostess / wonderful persimmon / 25556 posts
@blackbird: never ever turn off the faucet. Ever.
@tinyperson: last night we let our lo dip her bread in ketchup to avoid any possible tantrums.
wonderful grape / 20453 posts
@mediagirl: But then it gets cold and she throws a tantrum over that! This child likes her water disturbingly warm. I legitimately worry sometimes, because her legs will be all pink and red, but she freaking LIKES IT and freaks out if i try to cool the water temp down!!! *headdesk*

@yoursilverlining: Where are the magic un-sticking stickers when you need them!?
pomegranate / 3577 posts
@blackbird: Oh yes, I understand little one, I understand. My showers are like scorched earth. DH constantly squawks at me for my showers being too hot.
I can't figure out what the heck sets E off these days. I think the big cartoon question mark above my head must tick him off!

N was crying because I wouldn't let him have more soy milk after he threw up everything in his tummy. Sorry kid not happening.

Because Daddy was still sleeping.
Well... after that fit I guarantee you he's NOT sleeping anymore!
eggplant / 11824 posts
@.twist.: I was like "they are stickers! That's kind of what they do!!!" and telling myself deep breath and count to 5 in my head
wonderful grape / 20453 posts
@Espion: I like mine hot, too! I used to worry more when she was younger and kept it cooler, but I figure she's almost 2, and she can tell hot from cold (and she can reach the faucet, so if i turn it cool, she turns it back to blazing), so......but I don't want her to get burned from it, either!

OMG, what DOESN'T set him off these days? My favorite from yesterday was when he cried cuz he wanted Battlecat's helmet on, so I put it on, and then he cried because it was on. DUDE.
PS - Yes, that's right. My child plays with He-man toys that are 30 years old.

She wanted her almond milk so I got her her almond milk... Mean mommy!

last night: I told her she could not hit daddy with her t-ball bat. MELTDOWN.
She also cried this morning when she drank all of her almond milk "aka milkshake" as she calls it. We were in the car and I had no more to give....

Because she wanted a kashi bar and I broke it in half and she got pissed that it wasn't whole. Even when I gave her both halves. It was broken and therefore not edible, in her opinion.
hostess / wonderful persimmon / 25556 posts
@PrincessBaby: I have learned to never ever break my kid's food without asking permission first. Even then....I usually don't. Hahaha.

I gave her the sticker she asked for. 30 minute meltdown that lasted through putting shoes and coat on, getting in the car and nearly the whole drive to daycare before she mysteriously stopped and started singing.
cantaloupe / 6610 posts
@mediagirl: She used to like one half in each hand...She has this ocd thing about something in or on both hands. And suddenly that's gone and I'm like an axe murderer bc I instinctively broke it in half.
Toddlers are SO AWESOME!!!!

@Espion: haha that was L this morning with DH. He was NOT happy about DH getting him up this morning and kept shaking his head saying "mama" hahaha poor DH.
@MrsRcCar: Throw up soy! Yum! How could you not want more!
@swurlygurl: Best alarm clock ever?? haha
@littlebug: haha we have those too!!!
@Purpledaisy: You got her what she asked for, how neglectful of you!!
@LuLu Mom: hahaha! she's invented a whole new sport.
@meganmp: The face of a tortured child! (a really cute one at least!!!)
@PrincessBaby: You broke the goodness RIGHT out of the bar! haha
@meganmp: You're screwing up all over the place! LOL.

Because I gave him the Mac and cheese he asked for, then because I took it away from him, then because I gave it back to him after he begged for it again. Humph!

@.twist.: she's obsessed. "oooh! mama! thea have it! in! in! thea in!"

I rolled up LO 2's sleeves before dinner.
LO 2 stole LO 1's tiny Candy Cat (Peppa pig) figure.
