We didn't have a swing with Lo1 and I think that was a mistake. I want to get one for this babe. Can you recommend a swing that both you and Lo liked?

I have this one, I love it! It's held up well so far and not to expensive! I also like that I can detach it and it swings front to back or side to side.

Lo2 would settle for any swing I think. He used a portable one in the hospital just fine, fisher price at home.

Ooo, I'll be following this. We borrowed a mamaroo for DS 1 and he HATED it. I'm now looking at the snugapuppy.

I second snuga! It was the only thing I could put DS down in without him crying. Lifesaver.

I really liked the snuggabunny with my first. For me being able to plug it into the wall rather than rely on batteries was a must. No one appreciates a dead battery. The snuggabunny has the option to use batteries too which was helpful when the power was out. (I live in a rural area where we have power losses at least once a winter).
DS was never in love with the swing and he rarely napped in it. It was a nice spot to keep him when I needed to get dressed or eat though. He was a fan of his bouncy chair that vibrated- also the snuggabunny kind.

DD has a snugga at daycare thay she loves but at home we went cheap and got her a Fisher Price Spacesaver,which she is also a big fan of. She sometimes misses the fact that the toys move but she doesn't mind too much.
