I had a stabbing pain approximately front and center of my uterus (less than an inch off center). Anyone know if this could be round ligament pain? What does round ligament pain feel like?

I'm not sure if I ever experienced round ligament pain, but I had major pinched nerves during my 2nd and 3rd trimesters. Hurt so much.

What I experienced was a little more off to the side, but sounds similar. It usually happened if I stood up too quickly. But yeah, probably RLP. It only bothered me intermittently during my pregnancy.

Nevermind, found my answer. Ugh. Any idea what that pain might be instead?

Could it be a sort of cramp? I had a lot of cramps (some stabbing, some more like dull, achy period cramps) in early pregnancy.

@yoursilverlining: That's the only non-scary explanation, and I'm clinging to it. Though I have NEVER had a cramp like that before.

Dehydration cramp? Implantation? I think RLP is more to sides, my dr said more often to the right.

Well, if it's not on the side, I would call the OB. You sound worried! Ligament pain usually occurs after movement but I've found it occurs when I'm sitting down sometimes, too. It can go all the way down to your groin. That's fun... How far along are you?

@mediagirl: Ha! Not. I'm 13 DPO. I've had symptoms that ONLY pop up for pregnancy (like gaining a cup size and a half in a week), but it's back to normal today. Round ligament pain was the only explanation I could find that will clear up on it's own - that or a miscarriage/chemical pregnancy (which would explain everything).
