39 weeks. In so much pain from sciatic nerve on my right side. Waddling around. Hurts to walk. How am I supposed to try and walk in the hospital hurting this way!? Bummed. Because I'm ready! And natural birth is my goal.

I'm sorry! I had it really bad through the last half of my pregnancy. On the plus side, mine went away immediately after birth. Hang in there

Mine also went away after birth. And it definitely didn't even cross my mind during labor. Also, SI joint pain is similar to sciatic nerve pain and is often confused. There are exercises that can relieve it. I had nerve pain last time, this time it's definitely joint.

Hang in there! The only thing that stuck around after the birth was some of the numbness in my toes.

Can your SO massage it? A very gentle warrior 1 yoga pose helps as well. Maybe a heat pack?

I'm so sorry! I had awful awful pain throughout most of my pregnancy. In my case, it went away during labour...or else, the other pain distracted from it. And then it was completely gone once baby was born. Best of luck, hope it goes away soon!

I had it earlier in my pregnancy, but either the baby moved or it went away when I started wearing a support belt, I'm still not sure which helped! Good luck!!
