We transitioned from 2 to 1 nap a month ago and DD has been having rough night time sleep. I think it partially has to do with needing to stretch her morning awake time longer so there isn't as big of a gap between sleep in the afternoon, but DD is literally melting down if I try to go past 4.5 hours.

Here is a peek at the old and the new:

2 Nap Schedule
630a - wake for the day
10-12a - nap #1
3-4p - nap #2
730p - bedtime

1 Nap Schedule
5-530a - wake for the day but obviously still tired
10-1230p - nap
730p - bedtime

Do you have any tips for this transition? She used to sleep through the night for 11hrs and now, she frequently wakes 1-2 times (possibly from being overtired?). I ask if she wants to nap in the afternoon and try to put her down, but she refuses. By the way, DD is 17.5 months and I know it's later than usual to transition but she was a generally sleepy baby. Any help from fellow bees would be really appreciated!!!
