Me and a friend are planning a "shower" for a friend that had her baby when she had to move away for a few months, she never got a shower or anything and it is her first child. Well, now I am at a loss as to what we should do for games/ activities! Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Where I live most people have the shower post baby. The typical games I've played are the guess the baby poop game, diaper bag memory game, baby related word scramble just to name a few. I would guess most of the same games could be played as pre-baby?

I agree that many of the pre-baby shower games could be used.

I did baby pictionary at a baby shower and that was really fun! You just use things that are baby related and so it shouldn't matter that she's already had the baby. Everyone *hates* to play BUT everyone always has so much fun!

These are less game-like, but are fun for when there's a baby to pass around and spread the time out.We do one with the baby's name printed vertically on paper and then each guest can write words of advice to the baby starting with those letters. When everyone is done, they share if they'd like, and then all the pages get bound together for the child to have.
There's also the alphabet book, were each guest gets a different letter or two and can draw picture and a sentence or two with an object of that letter, signed by that guest. the baby has something to look through when he/she is older and learning letters, objects, and books
