I don't think I like this obvious side-boob trend.
I'm not necessarily against a woman showing off her body, but this seems a little much. I think it's fine at the beach or pool, when there's a reason for wearing little clothing, but not so much elsewhere.

Hmmm, I just generally don't think it looks very good. I've never thought the place where your boob meets your rib cage was a particularly attractive part of the body... Lol

Eh, it's not my style and I don't live anywhere that you'd see that IRL but I think certain people can probably pull it off and not make it look totally trashy (a la Linday Lohan).

Some people can pull it off. I think it looks classier when there is a layer of sheer fabric involved. Michelle Dockery looked gorgeous in this dress:

I lean strongly toward modesty, anyway, but I agree. That girl's dress would be more lovely in so many ways with smaller armholes (and, IMHO, a longer hemline).

@anandam: I totally agree about the hemline . . . (well, and her positioning in this picture). I think if you do side boob, your legs need to be covered. Too much skin is too much (even when the wearer has a great body).

@MsLipGloss: Yes! I remember friends in college having some rule - your options are shoulders, cleavage, thighs. Show two to be sexy, cover all to be professional. Never show all three unless it's foreplay. Or something to that effect...

I think it's fine if it's done right: in the evening/night, and with the right cut dress, (like Miranda Kerr above.)
