DH's cousin works at LO's daycare but in the older kids room. She has always come grab her for music/singing time in the big kid's room. While they do music/singing time she also signs a bit. I guess just from this LO has been picking up signing. She learned to sign more and please. DH's cousin told us that LO communicates a lot at daycare via signing. She asked if we wanted to borrow a book she has on signing.
I'm a little conflicted because LO is actually rapidly adding to her vocabulary. At this point she knows more words than signs; to my knowledge.
What would you do? Would you pursue signing at this point? She's almost 17 months and I don't really feel any frustration on either side on communication to be honest.
