We also have the metal rack that goes into the bottom of the sink which I also like bc I feel like it’s “clean” vs the sink. Con is that it’s a pain to clean and I end up letting the sink itself get gross bc I have to take the rack out to clean it.

@petitenoisette: +1 to those metal racks be such a pain to clean!!!!!!

@Ajsmommy: I have a metal rack thing that goes across my sink that actually came with the sink. So I'm able to rest the sponge on that. But I actually can't figure out a good way to store the handled sponge on the sink in sight. I hate the look of them and I've totally stopped using them because of no way to conveniently store them. Maybe under the sink?

@petitenoisette: I have a metal rack in the bottom of my sink. I put it in the dishwasher. Are you able to do that? (Am I supposed to do that, or no? yikes! I don't know!) Anyways. Its easy to clean that way and we clean the sink each week while the rack is being washed.

@agold: yes, I did eventually realize that I can just barely fit it in the dishwasher but our sink is fairly small so not sure works for larger sinks! @meadow: same problem with full dishwasher until I realized I can put it standing up on the end of the bottom rack parallel to the door (if that makes sense!).

@meadow: Haha I get you. My dish washer servers more as a drying rack b/c of the amount of dishes!

@agold: Oo, I never thought to try to put that in the dish washer! Ours is huge since we have a large farm house sink; I'll have to see if it fits in there somehow!

@SweetiePie: I like this one because of the brush! Does the brush peek up over the edge of the sink, though? I hate seeing the brush!

@meadow: I'm so happy to know that I am not the only one who runs the dishwasher daily!! And yes.. I just lay is flat across the bottom, so it has to be a fairly empty load. And my rack is actually split into two pieces (one bigger for the bulk of the sink, and then one smaller for just over the drain hole that is on the side of the sink), so that helps I suppose having the smaller-ish pieces.
