I have one and still use it, my son is 3. I used to pack a lot, but I have slimmed down considerably, so I feel like it could work.
The main "issue" I had with it is that it is taller than it is wide, so it might not work if you have a ton of stuff.

I used this when I only had one kid... For me it would not be enough for 2, but I overpack.

I dunno. I haven't for one and still stuff it gull with an outfit, snacks, water, pouches, tissues, diapers and wipes. I could probably fit a couple infant diapers and two little sleepers in there, too though. The front pockets are great!

I didn't like mine with the open top. It closes with a magnet but I didn't think it stored enough and things could fall out too easily since we took public transport a lot. I quickly switched to a messenger bag and backpack.
