I saw it the midnight showing but it's so sad that I came home from the movie to find out about the Colorado shooting. I actually heard people leaving the theater talking about Colorado and I thought they were about the wild fires. I had no idea there was a shooting til I got home. It's so scary that it was in a movie theater! I have been to a lot of midnight showing over the past few years (Too many to count). I saw midnight showings of Avengers and Green Lantern. (The DH is a big comic book nerd.) Last night was crazy already from the amount of people. There were lines everywhere. Then add the costumes that people were wearing. There were people dressed up as Batman, clowns... and the Joker. (Knowing that the shooter dressed up as Joker is so creepy.)
It's so scary about how he came into the theater from the emergency exit and started firing. Even more scary that he was going through the aisles.
It really makes me think the next time I go to a midnight showing... or to the movie theater. I'll be thinking of where the emergency exits are. We like to sit all the way in the back row. Sometimes depending on the size of the theater there might be another exit in the back.
Just so scary. I'm so sorry for the victims and their families. My thoughts and prayers are with them.
Well, as for the movie, I really enjoyed it! This is coming from someone who was about to skip out on this movie because of how dark the last two movies have been. I, also, realized that Batman as a character isn't as likeable as the previous comic book characters I liked like Avengers, the new Spider Man and Green Lantern. With that said, I am glad I saw it! The movie was a good end to the trilogy. But so sorry about the shooting.
