Is there a chance that your LO will share a birthday with somebody in your family?
We're due 12/30 and my nephews birthday is 1/1 so if we weren't going to induce early, that would be a huge possibility.
Because the plan is to induce about 2 weeks early, I've had people tell me how great it would be if it were Hubs's grandma's bday (12/12) my great-grandma's bday (12/15), my uncle's bday (12/16) and so forth. I'd just like to avoid our anniversary (12/19).

yup. she could have shared with several august or september birthdays, but all that's left are potentially 9/28 (my uncle...who is now my ex-uncle, actually)..or 10/1, which is my grandmother's birthday.
she's due 9/25 but based on my own dating more like 9/27.

My due date is 11/25 and my aunt's birthday is 11/21 and my husband's grandfather's birthday is on 11/28. Not to mention LO is almost sure to have Thanksgiving on his/her birthday some years. None of that is an issue for me at all. I think it would be cool to share a birthday with a family member. My brother and I had bdays two days apart. When we were really young my mom was great about making sure we had separate parties. But once we got a little older to where we didn't care about being the center of attention we always celebrated together and it's great.

My youngest was due the day after my grandma's birthday but was born a week after it. My oldest was due three days after my birthday, but was born two weeks after it.
My brother and I have the same birthday, though!

DH and LO are 1 day apart, but only because LO was two weeks early! I feel a little bad for DH but he says he doesn't mind sharing, so I guess it's ok.

There’s a very real possibility! My BIL’s birthday is 10/19, his girlfriend’s birthday is 10/13, my parent’s anniversary is 10/17 and other BIL’s birthday is 10/16. LO is due on 10/17!

DS was born 4 days after my nephew, who shares a birthday with my grandpa. I was very glad DS wasn't born on the same day as my nephew, though!

My brother wanted her to share a birthday with his nephew on my SIL's side of the family, so it wouldn't be my family, but he wanted a birthday that would be easy to remember because he already knows it. But I thought that would be dumb because than we'd have to compete for when we get to have the birthday party. They don't have the same birthday so no worries.

Yup. My LO shares a birthday with my BiL. It was bound to happen - all 3 of my husband's siblings were born in january.

I'm due two days before my mom's birthday and three days before SIL's birthday, so LO could share with either of them! They're both very excited about it, and I think it could be pretty cool, too. Or, if I deliver one day before my due date, LO would share a birthday with one of my close friends.

if my kids were born a week earlier, they would have shared it with my cousin. but the hospital didn't schedule c-secs before 38 weeks or so.

LO was born on 8/8, which is my aunt's birthday. My niece's birthday is 8/4, DH's uncle is 8/10 (LO's due date), and my BIL is 8/11. DH's birthday is also in August, but he's at the end of the month.

My LO will be delivered by C-section around my Mil and FIL's bdays. They are arguing right now over this...like they have a say when my Dr will schedule my surgery!
