You aren't an idiot. You were upset and defending your family. It sucks when you get into an argument, especially with neighbors and especially when they come over and prolong it. But don't beat yourself up, you left your son in a safe place in your home because you felt these people create an unsafe spot for him in your yard. Please don't let this not so nicely acting neighbor ruin your night or stress you out anymore than he already did, he isn't worth it. Hugs

I can speak from personal experience that sometimes your temper gets the better of you and you make a tiny decision that you come to regret for so long after that. I felt nauseous for weeks after doing something similar, and I couldn't stop replaying it over and over in my head. I think that all you can do is move on, know that the moment is in the past, nothing bad happened and it will never happen again. Hugs sweetie.

OMG I almost posted something like this the other night. My DH and I were leaving Safeway around 10:30 the other night and this guy started backing his truck up right toward us. He was way too close for comfort so I raised my arms and shouted "Hello!! Watch where you're going!!" Thank God he didn't try to fight us or something. I felt so stupid after ward. I'm 30 weeks pregnant and I swear it was my mother bear instinct trying to protect my body and my unborn baby. Even though it could have been way worse if the guy was crazy... Just try to take it as a lesson for next time. I like to think these things happen so we are smarter when we need to be.
