So in an attempt to keep her awake so she might sleep better tonight I decided to try some tummy time for the first time. I would call this a fail. A cute fail though!

Haha! She is such a cute sleeper
That looks just like one of our first tummy time attempts. I was kind of hoping to get her riled up so she would nurse better. Didn't work out so well.

Oh my goodness, you guys with your angelic little tummy timers! Tummy time definitely has the effect if getting C riled up and awake! She hates it so much. I don't have good pictures of the tears because she is usually mashing her face into the blanket. On the plus side, the crying wears her out and the face mashig usually clears her nose (Dh lays her on his chest for it sometimes and always has to change his shirt).

@Foodnerd81: She LOVES being on her stomach! If it were safe to just let her sleep like that I totally would! She gets to angry when we put her on her back to sleep. It's probably why bedtime is always so hard! Who knows what this means for the future of tummy time though! I'm kinda jealous your LO likes being on their back.
@swurlygurl: So cute! Glad to know I don't have the only lazy tummy timer! lol

OMG! So cute. It's way better than constant screaming about being on your tummy.

This happened to us exactly one time and dd decided tummy time wasn't for her, but I have a pic of it!
Maybe next time!

@Mrs Hedgehog: Unfortunately this phase lasted all of a week, and then came the screaming terror that I expected to go along with tummy time

OMG, love sleeping babies!!! That's how Xander was in the very beginning too before he learned to hate tummy time.

@googly-eyes: LO fell asleep once during his second tummy time during the day on the suggestion of a nanny friend of mine. I posted it on FB and she said that she should charge for her advice. She saved our sanity in those early weeks by learning to tire him out.

Awww.. adorable! Count yourself lucky if your LO falls asleep during tummy time! Mine would just scream and holler! Has never once fell asleep during TT.
