So my shoulders are now KILLING ME!!!! Especially my left shoulder. My breasts have gone up 2-3 cup sizes, and I'm only 21 weeks.. Could that be contributing? I don't know what else to do, heat, rest even tylonal aren't helping

I didn't have this specific problem, but I loved going to prenatal yoga when I was pregnant, and yoga is almost always restorative for me when I have back pain (regardless of pregnancy).
Right now my upper back is a wreck because I am constantly hunching forward to pick up my 16-lb infant and/or to nurse. A massage didn't really help much, but I finally went to yoga yesterday and it helped a bit. I'm not 100% but will make an effort to keep going. Yoga is full of back bends and stretches, and it really helped me counteract the hunched-ness.

I have so many friends who have tons of shoulder and back pain due to their larger breasts so that could contribute to it. Try stretching. I learned stretches in yoga that helped me with shoulder pain I had due to a car accident.

@Mirage: Do you think you slept on it funny? My left shoulder has been in pain for the last 3 days, and it usually is from sleeping funny. I woke up feeling worse today though, ugh.

Since I've been sleeping on my sides, my shoulders get sore so I've been doing extra shoulder stretches in my prenatal yoga. It helps a ton!

@namaste: Ooh, sleeping on my side is really hard on my shoulders too! I need to give prenatal yoga a try asap...
