Do you have a spare car seat for your kids? I'm just curious because we have an extra car seat in the basement, it's just very basic, but I'm wondering if I should hold onto it or not. We have two car seats in each of our cars currently.

I do. We keep one installed in our car (very heavy) and keep one for travel, taxis, lending someone if they visit, etc (it's much lighter). It's a pain since we're in an apartment and I'd love to have a little extra storage space, but I feel it's a necessity.

We have a spare that my FIL keeps in his van, which is very helpful since my kids visit the in-law's often. Then LO1 upgraded his car seat, and we gave that one to FIL as well.

We have a travel convertible because DD1s car seat is heavy. DD2 is still in the infant seat. We don't need extra seats for other vehicles.

We do, we only have 1 cart though so having that secure seat means we don't have to shuffle Ave I can do last minute things with friends if they can drive us. We actually have another spare for travel because it fits in our umbrella stroller, I prefer our nicer one though.
