So, we had another set back. This week at speech therapy, his therapist couldn't understand him. His intelligibility has dropped drastically even from just one week ago.

I took him to an ENT on Monday and there was fluid in his ears (may be left over from infection). His hearing was on the low end of normal but considered normal. They did the tympasomething test and his ear drum vibrated but not in the normal pattern. I swear this is what we had almost a year ago when we did a hearing test. So now we have to wait 3 months to see if he still (or again) has fluid in his ears).

He is still saying 4 word sentences but you can't understand the words in them. Words he said perfectly just two weeks ago. Speech therapy isn't helping much right now because if he can't hear the sounds, he can't mimic them.

I just don't know what to do right now. It is so scary to watch him regress so much. Any suggestions or ideas?
