I admit it, I am. And I love doing it!
I always have to report back to my mom about her friend's daughter, who used to be friends with her on Facebook but defriended her after she realized her parents friends were reading things about her getting pregnant (she didn't tell her parents ever) and her abortion. I love looking at people's pictures from my high school, even if I don't talk to them anymore. I guess I'm just nosy.

@Andrea: That's how I feel. If I don't care about these people, there's no way they care about me.
There's some people that I would defriend because we don't talk ever and they're friends of friends, but they "like" my pictures often so I know they like to see them. And I don't really care.

@artbee: My friends list is absolutely OUTRAGEOUS! I have everyone I ever knew in high school, college, class projects, work projects, all my old associates, family, etc so I actually just unfriend whoever I am not close to or don't know on their birthday! I know that is kinda mean, but I don't do it with people who would even notice I did it!

@bluestriped bee: lol that's cute! It's perfect for my mom. She likes to stalk an ex employee and her friend's crazy daughter. She's not friends with them of course so its all about public profiles!

@artbee: Yes! I am so nosy! There's a girl that I met while DH went through basic training that complains about everything! She is always posting statuses looking for attention and pity. I want to delete her so bad sometimes but it's like a train wreck and I can't help but watch. She just had her 2nd baby a couple of weeks ago and she's been posting status after status about how this baby is so much sweeter/better than her now two year old was as a baby. It makes me feel so sad for the older one.

Ohh, I just got done doing some Facebook stalking actually. When we were just out of college, I used to stalk everyone's wedding pictures. Now those same girls are having babies and I like to keep tabs on that too

@Sweet T: I hate that- I have people that I feel like I should delete but I know once I finally do they'll announce an engagement or baby or something, and I love seeing that stuff!

Oh gosh yes. I'm so nosy and FB really helps fuel that! There are so many people that I'm "friends" with on FB whose status updates, etc. drive me crazy but I won't delete them because I still want to keep tabs on their life!

Sometimes..But I really don't like the term "fb stalker" because I figure if people didn't want everyone to know something, they wouldn't put it on there! Lol!

I used to be a FB stalker, but HB is my internet addiction LOL...
Nowadays I use the check-in feature (an ongoing joke with my gfs)... but don't post much else.

@mrsjyw: my husband is that person who's always checking in. I tried to start, but I always forget. Which is fine because I'm usually with him and he always tags me.

I stalked more before I had my LO! So much easier to navigate FB from my regular computer. These days I mostly use the mobile version so I just read stuff in my newsfeed.
I suspect I will resume stalking when I return to work!
