My hair is SUPER long. I text'd my stylist to see if he can squeeze me in for an emergency cut, but he doesn't have any weekend openings.
My next appt isn't until the end of March.. so I grabbed a pair of scissors and cut 3 inches off of my length.
It looks really good (probably gonna get yelled at in March) since I just cut straight across the bottom and didn't have to worry about touching my layers.
I feel so much better now.
Do you cut your own hair?

No I would never cut my own hair! But I do cut DH hair on a regular basic, it's pretty easy though, just a buzz cut.

Never! I love having my hair done and always book my next appointment at the current appointment so I never miss and am never late.

I've never cut my hair. I go to the salon every 8-12 weeks like clockwork. In fact, I made sure I was on track to get a hair cut a few weeks before I'm due.

I haven't had my haircut in a year, and it is waaaay too long. Someone please stop me from picking up the scissors!!!

Sigh. I am both cheap and have expensive taste. So usually once every two years I get a nice cut. In between... I cut my own. (like 2-3x/year)

wow that's nuts! kuddos to you! i would never cut my hair. although i let my mom cut it when i was younger (and i cried for days) and my friend in college - had to get it fixed lol.

I don't give myself a full haircut but I do occasionally trim my bangs and "clean up" the edges of my A-line cut between professional haircuts.. I do, however, cut my husband's hair and am pretty darnn good at it

I try not to but sometimes my bangs get in the way, so I'll trim them and then I regret it because they always end up being too short.

I trimmed my bangs...using the old gather them up, twist and cut method. I told my stylist and he told me never to do that again and just pop in for a trim when needed.
