Prior to becoming a mom, I've had my love affairs with the gym but something would always happen and I would fall off the bandwagon, not go for months, and then have to start my fitness regime all over again. Since becoming a mom, the gym has become my lifesaver and it is my non-negotiable -- I just HAVE to get to my weekly classes for my mental health most of all. I'll turn down plans with friends if it conflicts with my class. I finally know what people are talking about in regards to the high you get after a work out. Anybody else using the gym as their place of refuge?
