Just curious, if you didn't get stretch marks in your first pregnancy, does that mean you won't get them in your second pregnancy? I know that stretch marks depend on genetics so I'm guessing/hoping your skin handles subsequent pregnancies the same.

I didn't get them in my first pregnancy, and I'm okay right now at nearly 28 weeks. But I know the biggest belly growth is still yet to come, so we'll see! FX!

I only got one or two at 39 weeks with my first. With my second, I got lots and I had them by the end of the second trimester.

None in either pregnancy. My kids are 4 years apart. I can't say it's genetics though, because my mom (4 kids, all 2 yrs apart) does have stretch marks. I'm wondering if perhaps I don't because of the length of time between my pregnancies? I gained 60 lbs with my first and 45 lbs with my second.

I didn't with my first, but have been curious about this also. Since you start showing earlier with subsequent pregnancies, wasn't sure if this would change the odds!

I didn't get them on my belly in my first but then I had twins the second time around and got tons on my belly. Hard to know if I would've gotten them with a singleton though.
