DH and I have only ever liked two names...one boy and one girl. We used the boy name with DS and if this baby is a girl we will use the other, however we still need a boy backup name. The trouble is DH vetoes all of my suggestions, but at the same time never suggests any himself! The only other boy name he has ever liked is Kenji (Japanese) and he wasted it on the dog. His only other suggestion was Bo, which I'm pretty sure is a joke since it is the first syllable of our last name and the poor child would be Bo Bo-. I'm asking now because I think we will need all the extra time we can get coming up with a name! Any good suggestions?

My current suggestions that all got a blunt "no" (not even "maybe" or "I'll think about it") were:

Ezra - personal favorite since I was young.
Harper Christian - Christain is a variant of DH's first name which we used as DS's middle name
Loden - I wanted to name DS this. It's a shade of green which is the meaning of the girl name we picked out. DH says it doesn't go with our last name.

Grayson
Asher
Gavyn
Ryder - DH says this sounds like a girl and followed with "Knight Ryder" comments
Nev - Originally suggested as a joke to see if DH was paying attention but the more I think about it the more I love it! It's a variant of the French name Neville and the Latin name Nevin.
