I just had a former classmate announce on Facebook that they are having a surprise baby.... wait it is surprise BABIES. she is pregnant with #4 & #5. My mouth dropped open and I can't even imagine. It makes me scared to try for #3 knowing that it could always be #3 and #4, i just don't know if i could handle it!
Anyone else have this happen to them?

My friend just had surprise twins!! She got pregnant at 3 months PP, so now she has a 17 month old and 2 - 5 month olds!!

I know a few people who are pregnant with twins. All of them are babies #2 and #3. We are about to TTC for baby #2. I hope we don't have twins. lol

I had a big bleed with my third. Heavy enough that I was convinced it was my period. My doc thinks it might have been a twin. Irish twins is hard enough, I can't imagine Irish triplets.

@oliviaoblivia: She was a extremely surprised! She actually didn't even find out it was twins right away. For some reason she didn't have the early dating ultrasound, and she didn't go in for an ultrasound until she was 15-16 weeks. She was really wondering why she was getting so big so fast!

A long time ago but my aunt had #2 & 3 10 months after #1. And DH's coworker had surprise triplets... 4 under 2. These stories scare me!

A friend of a friend had three kids (all girls), she wanted a forth and finally convinced her husband to try. Well, they got pregnant naturally with number four... five... and six! All boys!

My mom was surprised by #6 & 7- she had a set of twins, a single, and another set of twins and was done. But then accidentally got pregnant again when she thought she was going through menopause. Numbers 4, 5, 6, and 7 were all under 2 years old!

I have a friend who was trying for #2, and she ended up with #2, #3, and #4. She had a 2.5 year old and 3 newborns. She was taking Clomid.

A family friend had surprise identical triplets. She had 5 kids, aged 7-21. They actually thought she had uterine cancer because her hormones were such a mess, and at the ultrasound they found triplets instead!

A friend of a friend got pregnant when their first was 10 months. The second pregnancy turned out to be triplets. Their triplets were born 3 months early, so they had 4 kids under 18 months. I can't even imagine.
My dad is one of seven, and his two youngest siblings are twins.

Omg these stories!
My boss told me that when her mom was expecting her third, she went into labor early... and came home from the hospital with twins. Apparently ultrasounds weren't a regular thing back then. They were in a small apartment and had to move in a big hurry!

@Mama Bird: DH's mom found it she was having twins at 38 weeks with her second pregnancy! I was like, WTF?! Really?! But they have an X-ray with three spines on it: MIL, DH and DH's twin sister. Crazy!

Couple stories.
First and most shocking was my Mother-in-law. #2 ended up being #2,#3,#4,#5
All natural. She ended up loosing one. But the other three, my Brother and Sisters in law made it and were healthy.
My Aunt had twins and went into labor thinking baby #2 was on the way and got #2 and #3. She had no idea there were 2 in there until she delivered. I can NOT imagine.
