Are you more cautious when you are pregnant? I am currently 21 weeks.
I came home from work on Tuesday because I had the flu. I thought I was being super cautious but then spent the whole afternoon throwing up EVERYTHING that I tried to eat or drink. I had a mild fever of 101, and the chills, aches, etc. I stayed home today, except for an hour and a half because a group of my students were putting on an assembly for the whole school and I needed to be there to support them and make sure that everything went smoothly. I was cold/achey the whole time I was there.
However, I haven't thrown up but did have one close call, and just ate a little bit of dinner (the first real food in 2 days). I also only have a VERY mild fever of 99.5. I definitely don't feel great, but I think I would go to school tomorrow if I wasn't pregnant.
Tomorrow is finals, and I feel bad that I haven't been there all week to help them get ready. They are just finishing projects that they have already started, but some classes haven't had me there to ask any questions yet.
This bug has been going around the school, most people have missed a min of 2 days, some more than that.
So what would you do? Suck it up and go or stay home for another day.
