It's interesting because three of my friends had inductions or C-sections last week because it is SO FREAKING HOT here and they were so miserable But that did mean that all their babies were delivered early, some by a couple of weeks.

To play devil's advocate, though, my sister's twins were delivered about a week early, and they, at 6 years old, don't show any signs of academic difficulties. (that's my nearly unbiased opinion
