DD is one now and although I adore my UppaBaby Vista, I am thinking of purchasing an umbrella stroller for road trips. Because of my great experience with UppaBaby so far, I'm inclined to get the G-Luxe or G-Lite but wanted to get some opinions on good options out there so I don't miss out on anything!

I love my G-Luxe...light, easy to fold, stands up when folded, huge sunshade and I like the color options.

We have the g luxe and love it! Super easy to push, lightweight, and pretty nice sized basket.

Oooh, so 2 votes for the G-Luxe, awesome. @autumnlove: @betsyboop: do you feel like the seat of the G-Luxe is too shallow and might become uncomfortable for an older DD? I was reading a couple of Amazon reviews that mentioned this.

@hilsy85: The basket is a big part of why I want the G-Luxe, my Vista basket is heaven and I don't want to give it up.

@plantains: it's definitely not as big as the vista, but I think for an umbrella stroller it's pretty good! Plus it's sturdy enough that I've been able to hang stuff off the handles while LO is in it.

We have a cheapo babies r us stroller. We've been using it for 1 1/2 years and love it, very easy peasy.

I'm wondering about umbrella strollers too...is the g-luxe smooth to push? Or does it feel like any other stroller?

@HLK208: I haven't tried any other umbrella stroller to compare, but it is super smooth/easy to push, even over bumpy NYC sidewalks.

Smooth/easy to push is a big one for me, a couple of friends have umbrella strollers that make me feel like i'd break my wrist pushing them. I can't deal with that.

@HLK208: I think it is pretty smooth. I also test drove a MacClaren and a Chicco and I liked the G-luxe the best.

@autumnlove: That was gopnna be my next question ha! I think I am definitely going with a G-Luxe. Now I just have to pick a fun colour.
