Is this a daycare environment or a public school? For our Kinder kiddo, the teacher had a wishlist and we bought from it. She asked for fun bandaids, googly eyes and different printer labels. We supplied her with bandaids. We've since received a more extensive list and I will gladly send her a supply each month.

We never have enough tissues. Things that can be used in the classroom would probably be appreciated.

I covet colored pens (G2 gels are my favorite!) and fun colored sharpies! I think simple office supplies is probably the best bet (highlighter, the white out that you roll onto the page, etc) or extra school supplies is the way to go.

I think something very small that your daughter helped choose/wrap is a sweet gesture for the first day. The teacher will appreciate the thought and it gives your daughter a "hook" for the first day, since she enjoys giving gifts.

@JoyfulKiwi: JUst yesterday, I stood there for 5 mins. deciding whether to get purple gel correction pens or bleed less fine sharpies because I didn't want to spend my money on both!!

DD1 has a supply drop off day at her UPK. I'm including extra paper towel rolls, tissue boxes, crayons etc that are off the supply list. And a pair of LuLaRoe leggings.

@mauxie: I just asked our teacher what she needed and she said the class could use some nice sturdy puzzles. Larger than what you're asking for, but it was nice to gift the class something it needed and the teacher was thankful to not have to purchase it herself.
