We found out at 15w...I don't think I could honestly survive 40 weeks not knowing. I feel like I wouldn't really be able to get totally ready either. Once we found out we're having a girl, that was when I really got moving on the nursery, clothes, etc...I'm not a big gender-neutral person - I definitely prefer stuff gender specific for both nursery and clothing. Sooooo, looks like Team Green is not for me!

Team green with both pregnancies; although I will say I've wanted to cave and find out more with this second one. Loved the surprise with my first and the excitement when my OB announced "indoor plumbing" for DD. Can't wait to find out what LO#2 is in about 3 weeks.

Team green here and at 37 weeks still no regrets! We've had a ton of ultrasounds too an no one has slipped even once. I'm getting so excited to meet our LO.
My only annoyance about being on Team Green is hearing from the obnoxious people that make such a big deal about how they NEED to know the sex in order to plan. If it's MY baby and I don't need to know the sex, then you certainly don't!

Definitely found out! I wanted to know and will do the same for future children!

@skipra: I agree that if we want to be surprised then who cares if others don't/can't for their planning needs - it is my child so only MY plans really matter (well and those of DH )

@artbee: I understand some people wanting to buy gender specific items but then the thought of having to re-buy everything for #2 (if the opposite gender) just seemed crazy to me. Plus I'm not a fan of pink so gender neutral was perfectly fine by me.

I love the idea of team green, but I'm just ridiculously impatient with everything, so I couldn't do it. My dad was actually SO mad that I found out! Haha. We went for an early ultrasound for my birthday, at about 15.5 weeks.

This is from the couple who exchanges gifts days before events because we can't wait anymore. We totally couldn't have waited 40 weeks, lol!

We found out, I told DH that with the next we could go team green if he wanted (he really pushed for it this round, but there was NO WAY I could do it!) But I don't think he will be able to last next round either HAHA

We found out and I think it's really helped DH start to bond with the baby early. He's been excited about the pregnancy, but now that we know he's definitely taken it to another level of excitement - he sends me pins of pink nurseries.

No question about it, we are going to find out.

Team green and I love it. The sex of the baby honestly makes no difference to me; the baby is first and foremost our child, with their own personality and place in the world. It's exciting to wait and see what they're like. Getting no ultrasounds means we even daydream about their face.

As an added bonus: no horribly gendered clothing or expectations for baby until they're born!

We're Team green! Only 9 more weeks to go! While it's tough not knowing whether it's my son or daughter in there, it has been fun and added a little extra element of excitement to it. Whenever I tell people we don't know, they say - oh that's the best! I've had a few hormonal moments...like in BRU surrounded by tons of cute girl and boy stuff and then 1 ugly option for unisex, but it passes. Plus, it's kept me from going overboard and spending tons of money on clothes...I've been more focused on the stuff that I'll need regardless of the gender.

With DS I found out and do not regret that although I did go overboard with buying clothes. With LO #2 we have remained Team Green with only 7 weeks to go! I won't lie it is KILLING me at this point but I do not regret being Team Green. I am at the point though that I want to know now. If we decide to have a third I'm going to do my best to convince DH to be team find out.

@Tidybee: Seriously, what's up with the clothes? Why can't there be more cute, fun, gender neutral options? And why does every outfit have to involve an anthropomorphized animal?!

@purrpletulips: with big things we bought gender neutral things so we won't have to spend too much if we have a boy next. I didn't want to have to buy another stroller, high chair, etc. As for clothes, most of her clothes are gifted or hand me downs so I don't have a choice but when I do buy I buy gender neutral so I'll have some stuff if we have a boy next. We do have lots of pink, but we also have a good start if the next is a boy.

@Artbee; I see. We had gender neutral clothes from our shower but have found it hard to find in bigger than 0-3m sizes. However, I have only bought clothing at consignment stores, goodwill, yard sales so if this is a boy I'll just sell them back and re-buy for a boy.

We were Team Green twice and will do it again in the future. We're big fans, obviously, lol!

We have a girl who will be 16 months on Sunday & we are pregnant with a boy! We found out around 19-20 weeks with each! I am a planner & just had to know! I think it is pretty cool when people go team green till the end though

We were Team Green! I loved it. But! I love when others find out. Haha I don't know why I was so patient with our baby, but I can't wait to hear about others' babies. The moment that my husband announced, "It's a boy! We have a son!" was just indescribable. We will be waiting to find out for all pregnancies.

@MsLipGloss: Giraffes...hmmm I think that sounds cool! Alphabet theme nursery is totally what we were going to go with if we are Team Green.
