I worked at a company called Hardware Speciality - my boss was a tyrant... It was my first "real" job after college and I lasted about 6 months before finding something new. She used to check our browser history so see if we had been online checking our e-mail etc. And she would do random "drop ins" to check how messy our desks were....Man that place SUCKED!

I worked at a popular printing and shipping place. My coworkers were so rude to the customers and it was a miserable place to work. I needed the money so I stuck with it for a long time. I quit when my manager told me I couldn't schedule work around school. He said I had to schedule school around work. I told him no way!

I worked for an Oncologist that acted like a 2 year old tyrant! It was horrible! He would have yelling matches with his PA down the hallway while I would have patients in the room. One minute he'd be fine with a result not being in & the next he'd throw charts and yell at the staff! He actually had his PA threaten my job for not having a certain color scrubs on day & when I approached her telling her that I couldn't get them that day (I was a single parent going to school at the time) she told me "Oh he didn't mean it".... I actually quit that day, no notice & never to return (they mailed me my last check)! AND I want to say the longest they've been able to fill that position in the last 3 years was the 3 months that I was there! AB-SO-LUTE-LY terrible!

I was the admin director for a small personal training studio and my bosses (the owners, a married couple) were NUTS!!!! Well, he was okay, but she ran the show and she was full on crazy. They would bash their clients as soon as they were gone, she would get tired, and just go take a nap in their back office while he trained double the people, changed their minds constantly about what they wanted me to do. At one point, his sister came to visit and get her boobs done (?), and they had me drive her to and from the plastic surgeons office. I had to just sit and wait while she got implants and then drive her home (ACROSS THE US-CANADIAN BORDER!!) I was so young, I didn't know how to stand up for myself, but I got out in less than a year.

Property Management . I wanted something more professional on my resume (I was a bartender for years). I hated it and my boss was a total asshole. The best part of it was my movie-worthy dramatic walk out. I didn't need the job on my resume in the end anyway
