I thought I would be more relaxed this time around but nope, ball of worry.
How long did you feel cramps for in the early weeks? I'm only five weeks three days so it's all normal at this point, right?

Totally normal in my experience. I'll be 15 weeks tomorrow and I'm still a little crampy. They feel like a more mild version of period cramps.

@travelgirl1: I was having cramps on and off from before my BFP through to 7 weeks pretty consistently. I am 18 weeks now and still get cramping once in a while but I have been told it's totally normal!

I had cramping on and off with both of my kids for the first trimester. Totally normal!
I am hoping all goes just perfectly for you this go around!

With L I had cramps so badly that I couldn't speak. Not as bad with this one, but still crampy in the beginning.

Totally normal. Friends and HBers all told me to imagine the baby "burrowing in there" and causing the cramps. I always like that image.

I had a lot of cramping and some very early spotting from BFP till 15 weeks or so off and on. I'm now 22 weeks! Thinking of you and sending super sticky baby dust!

I had really scary cramps with both, maybe even more so this time. I had them really bad until 6 or 7 weeks. I think they finally stopped around 8 weeks. I'm sorry you are having them....they are normal, but I know they are unnerving when you've had a loss.

@travelgirl1: I am also way more anxious about pregnancy #2. I had cramping with both and everything has been fine.

@macintosh: @mrswin: @coopsmama: @oliviaoblivia: @mfa_lady: @MrsMccarthy: @78h2o: @Corduroy: Thanks ladies, you are the best. I worked myself right up today with nausea and cramps, which I know are both totally normal signs of pregnancy. They were just also symptoms of my miscarriage too so I am second guessing every.single.twinge. Thanks again

@travelgirl1: I totally hear you. I've been there--and honestly, at 32 weeks, I still worry about every little thing. The "little things" are different than they were in the first and second trimesters, but I still worry.
HOWEVER: you are pregnant. I am pregnant. We're pregnant! And even if we have to try harder than it seems like we should, we ought to be celebrating that.
Big fat hugs to you and baby. We're all here for you!

Very normal. Right when I got my BFP I remember getting period cramps, but they were different, and I felt them much lower so I suspected it wasn't for AF!

@travelgirl1: You're definitely not alone so don't worry! I had tons of cramping this pregnancy early on, especially from 5-8 weeks. They were awful

I had cramps that would literally wake me up in the night. I was terrified! It's totally normal (I think I actually discovered HelloBee when I was googling about it, oddly enough).
Thinking of you!

I am seven weeks on the dot with some pretty monster cramps, so this thread makes me feel better.

This echoes what everyone else said, but yes I had many cramps until about 7-8 weeks or so. At 5 weeks I had some that were so severe that my RE agreed to see me on a Saturday to do an early u/s and make sure the baby was fine, and all was well!

@travelgirl1: Mine lasted until 8-10 weeks. It's scary, but totally normal!! Best wishes!

I had a bunch in the first trimester with this one. My understanding is they are often worse with subsequent pregnancies.

@LBee: @SleepyMonkey: @twodoghouse: @Kimberlybee: @dolphin: @simplyfelicity: @Kbee: @littlejoy: @Radish: @Pumuckl: Thanks! I am pretty sure I might throw up this morning, which is a good ding, so I feel a bit better about stuff. Well, I don't want the sickness but I do, if that makes sense?
@Pumuckl: @Kimberlybee: @twodoghouse: Aw, thanks guys!
