This makes me want to cry. That poor baby, I can't imagine what he's been through.

People like this make me ragey - there are safe havens for a newborn to be taken to if a mother is feeling if she can't cope - to do something like this is inexcusable. Poor little baby, I hope he recovers and finds love and happiness.

ugh absolutely terrible I wish she had went for help when she needed it. So many people would have been willing to take the child if it meant protecting him/her.

So sad. My heart goes out to the mom and baby. Really wish she found help instead of endangering her baby.

This makes me rage-y. It is unbelievable to me that any one could be that cruel. That poor sweet little one. I pray he makes a full recovery and that there is someone out there who will love him as their own as I would assume his mother will be losing all rights.

This makes my heart just ache. I'm holding my 3 weeks old as she sleeps and can't imagine anyone doing something so terrible to such a tiny creature. Disgusting... I hope that poor baby suffers no long term ill effects from this.

That's truly awful! Poor babe. It's also terrible that the mother felt this was her only option.
