did you give your baby shower hostess(es) a thank you gift? i feel like i should, especially since the hostesses are planning it from out of town so they'll be flying in for it, and they tend to go fancy with their parties. if you gave a gift, what did you give? or what would you think would be appropriate? if anything, i may just have a floral arrangement delivered to each of them.

I did. I gave gifts to all three hostesses - they really went out of their way to plan such a gorgeous shower for me. I gave gift cards but can't remember if they were Starbucks or Nordstrom cards. I think I gave around $50 each?

I threw my sisters shower and didn't get a gift but maybe relatives don't count?

I gave my two best friends a gift set of Fresh bath products from Sephora along with some fancy chocolates.

What about tailoring each gift specific to your friend's interest?
Perfume sampler or Make up gadget (eyelash curler) for the girly girl
Fancy olive oil and hot sauce for the home chef
Popcorn with all the fixins for the home bodyPersonalized stationary, fancy travel umbrella, fancy lotion & hand sanitizer.
I would be very happy receiving a bouquet of flowers as a thank you.

The shower my friends threw I didn't, since I had 7 hostesses. But we have all taken turns throwing showers for each other. I am one of the last, and since they didn't do them, I didn't.
My family shower, I just got my sister something. I know some Aunts and cousins helped, but she did most of it. I got her a gift card for a manicure and pedicure.

My good friend & MIl hosted. For my good friend I got her a set of throw pillow covers she wanted from Etsy and 2 throw pillows for it. And something else, I forget.
For MIL a spa gift card!
I spent more on MIL's gift and in retrospect I wished I'd spent the same bc I didn't realize she split the costs too with MIL.

Two friends hosted my shower and I got each one a $50 gift certificate to restaurants that I knew they wanted to try.

I had 4 hostesses and I made them all really nice bath / shower gift bags. I bought nice shower bags from Vera Bradley, then stuffed them with fancy shower gels/ lotions from Anthropologie, and poufs, nail scrubbers, foot scrubbers, etc. from The Body Shop. I also put in a bath bomb and homemade soaps from a local artist.
I think you can never go wrong with wine or spa gift certificates, though. And robes.
