My dietitian recommended being sensible, but to have sweets and treats, aim for a walk post dinner, and not test on that day. I think I'll be following her advice!

I'd eat the carb first, then the protein hehe, and save the sweets for my allotted snack time!
I cheated a little during our work Thanksgiving luncheon, my # came in JUST under the max haha!
I'd feel ok to live a little esp if your #s have been good!

Yup saving the sweets for my snack times!
I plan to do the 2 protein servings for every 1 carb serving for my testing meals. I did that for my work's holiday luncheon and my numbers were still great.

@bluestriped bee: thanks--I haven't been on HB as much lately. It's not too bad at all, except for the times I feel sorry for myself and want to indulge in things like milkshakes and french fries!
