DW and I have always been just about the same height and weight. Until today when I realized I passed her 15 pounds ago. That is just about how much I have gained so far - and I am only 23 weeks today.
There is no point to this post besides my whining!!!

It's ok. I weighed more than my Dad once I gained 15 lbs. Not good for the old self esteem when he pointed it out.

My husband still doesn't know what I weigh and I plan to keep it that way! I've been heavier than him for most of our relationship.

Welll....my husband is 6'2 and I'm only 5'7 and in both pregnancies, I have eventually surpassed his weight. He's on the skinny side, but still! It sucks.
Last time, I couldn't weight till I was less than him again. I have a feeling it will take longer this time.

I always tell my husband one of the main reasons I married him is because I know there is basically no chance I'll ever weigh more than him (he's a foot taller than I am and really muscular)

@Mrs.Someone: Same here. Hubs knows my weight, but I've always been heavier than him (although for a short period of time, we weighed the same). I married him to pass on his metabolism to our kids.

@Truth Bombs: hahahaha! DH is about 10" taller than me and has always been bigger than me too, although I sometimes wish it was because he's muscular....

I keep telling my husband he can't get back down to 155 (his high school fighting weight) because then I will look like a house next to him. I weigh between 155-160 right now, and he's edging down to 170...I need to get on losing the last of the baby weight STAT.
But, at the end of my pregnancy, I weighed exactly the same as he did. At that point, I was over it.

I'm a half inch taller than DH and weigh 20 pounds more than him right now. Meh. Husbands are not the gold standard of weight

I am currently a solid 50lbs heavier than my DH. He's 6'1 to my 5'7 (yay for growing half an inch while pregnant!). He is so thin, he doesn't show up as a valid number on the BMI charts. People assume he is a distance runner, but he probably couldn't run a mile.

@MtnBiker: whoa! How much does he weigh!? Just curious, because I always consider my husband to be kinda skinny and he's 6'2 and 175. But he's not THAT skinny. Either way, I'm bigger than he is now.

When I delivered my daughter I weighed 25 lbs more than my husband who is 6'1. I'm 5'4 he told me I couldn't wear his shirts because I would stretch them out. It was true.

I get it, my husband has always weighted less than me. He's just a small guy (we are the same height.) But I really hated being pregnant and seeing the number on the scale knowing he was SO much less than me. I've lost some weight but I don't' think I'll ever get down to his weight. But I'm okay with it.

@anagram: he's about 125/130. He might technically only be 6'0 but he told me he was 6'1 when we started dating. His waist is ridiculous, I hope our kids get his metabolism - he eats a ton of food

DH found out as I was being checked in to labor and delivery that I weighed more than him. It was at full term and everything but still didn't feel awesome. He's about 3 inches taller than me and probably average build.
This pregnancy, I started out 20 lbs less than last time, and I wouldn't point this out to him but he has gained weight, so hopefully I won't surpass him this time.

DH is an inch or two taller than me and we weight about the same. It used to bother me, but i don't care anymore. When I was pregnant I probably had 40lbs on him

DH only weighs about 10 pounds more than me when I'm not pregnant so I far surpassed him when I was pregnant. The most depressing part was when I still weighed more than him for quite a while post-partum. I already felt pretty shitty but adding the fact that I weighed more than my husband didn't help too much! He's taller than I am too by several inches. Luckily, I am back to my normal weight again so all is right with the universe (for now!)

I passed my DH's weight in my second trimester. He's 6 feet tall but only weighs 145! I don't stand a chance.

@Truth Bombs: My husband always tells me that. When I'm down about gaining weight, he points out that no matter what he'll always be bigger!
