Today my 4 month old & I spent 5.5 hours away from each other for the first time (my mom has been begging for a Grammy day) & when she came home she couldn't stop smiling, talking, squealing/laughing & looking/grabbing at my face. Ahh, it warms my heart!!

So precious! I was away from my 11 week old for a few hours, and I could tell he missed me. He just wanted all of my attention and to be held. It's a great feeling.

Aww. I was playing chase with my 13.5 month old today and was awesome for her to really play with me and nothing beats the laughter and smiles.

Aww, that's sweet. I love how S will be either playing by herself or someone else will be playing with her, but if I'm in the room she'll keep checking in with me every minute or so and waiting for me to smile back before resuming her task!

The biggest smile he flashes every time he sees me or his laughs because he thinks I'm the funniest person ever, even if I'm just talking to him. DS is 6 months.

LO was at my inlaws for 3 nights so we could settle in with our newborn. When we went to go pick her up she looked at me, had a smile I have never seen her give and ran up to me and hugged me. I picked her up on my lap and she snuggled right in.

I come home from work and she shrieks mama! mama! Best feeling ever. A close second is when I ask for a kiss and she gives me one!

I love the sound of DH bathing her in the evenings - I use that time to put laundry away and change her bedsheets and I love listening to her laughing and splashing and DH saying silly things and making her giggle!
