Seriously. I get nauseous SO easily and all the smells just disgust me. Not to mention the meat section just makes me want to hurl. I wish i trusted DH to do the grocery shopping! Lol

Completely agree. So many days I was just too tired and too nauseous to deal with it. We ate a lot of take out or sometimes I'd make DH stop and get some frozen meals. And yeah... the meat section was no good. All I wanted was prepared, processed meats-- like frozen chicken nuggets, fine, but actual fresh chicken- gross.
Do you have the option of delivery groceries? I know you already have a LO so you probably want actual groceries!

@Foodnerd81: I can still manage. I just have to bring a list or else I forget half the stuff we need while I hurry through!

Our grocery bills haven't been this low in a long time!! I just get the bare minimum and move on. I use to go during the week, but I have to go on Sundays to get DH to help because it can be so torturous.

@MamaBehr: hahahahaha. If I ever brought DH to the grocery store we'd be broke by the time we left.

I hear ya! I never noticed the number of different smells at the food store until I shopped during the first trimester. Yuck.

Yeah, I think I've been to the grocery store about twice. The fresh fish section?? GAG!! THE worst. Unfortunately that was where the tortillas were close to. It was almost very bad!

Absolutely. And then, as late second/early third trimester hits, you're banned from the grocery store all together. I came home once with two watermelons, a bag of chips, pepperettes, and none of the things I went for. Hope you're all feeling better soon!

Yup! I just walked really quickly. I barely ate during my first tri!

In the first tri, I starting to send DH to the grocery store with the list I sent to his mobile. Genius plan. We've continued the tradition, even though I'm fully capable of smelling/consuming/loving all food, at this point.

I feel your pain! I was a wreck during my first tri and couldn't handle the smells! I couldn't stand the look or smell of meat and couldn't cook, so DH subsisted on the only things he knows how to make: hard-boiled eggs, chicken on the Foreman, and turkey tacos.

This is why I only used Amazon Fresh my first pregnancy and had all of our groceries delivered to our front door! I HATE the grocery store when I'm queasy.
