It seems like I am always the last man standing. Don't people say that the mommy always needs to stay healthy because there will be no one left to take care of mommy? Now that cold season is upon us - I am really feeling this!
The kid is sick, daddy is sick, and mommy needs to hold down the fort - sound familiar?

I think mommy's can get sick but we aren't as wimpy about it as daddy's are.

@Andrea: Boys are always soooo wimpy when they get sick! My husband has to nap a million times a day and can't take care of the baby. If I acted like that he'd have to stay home from work to take care of her just because I had a cold.

Ugh, we dealt with this not too long ago. All three of us were battling a cold, but of course, to my husband, it was pneumonia and he was going to diiiieeeeee and he was on the bed or on the couch moaning dramatically for a good portion of the day.

I suspect that this is a largely biological difference. Haven't reviewed the research though.
